Outreach to the Community
Community outreach is a high priority of the Educational Garden. We encourage the community to stop by, learn, and share the fruit of the garden. We invite the local school kids during the summer and during school months to join the Garden Crew in planting, harvesting, and learning. In the past we have had children from College for Kids, the YMCA, and the Park Program visit the Garden.
Craig Vivian, our garden bee keeper, has been bringing local kindergartners from Monmouth-Roseville School District on a field trip to Garden. Their activities include planting flowers and vegetables, touring the garden, tasting our raw honey and berries as well as identifying garden tools on a treasure hunt.

Farmer's Market and U-picks
For the past three summers our garden crew has been bringing fresh, naturally grown produce as well as homemade jams and raw honey to the Monmouth Farmer's Market. We sell at the Farmer's Market from June till early August and host weekly U-picks at the farm for the community members to experience the joy of berry picking. the following map is the route to the Monmouth Farmer's Market.
